Yes — waxing removes vellus (peach fuzz) and finer facial hairs by the root, leaving skin smoother than shaving. Very fine hairs may take multiple sessions to fully clear, and individual results depend on hair texture.

Exfoliate gently 48–72 hours before and avoid retinol or strong acids for at least one week. Keep hair at least 1/8 inch long, arrive with clean, makeup-free skin, and disclose medications or recent treatments.

Mild redness, sensitivity or small bumps are common and typically subside within hours to a day. We apply soothing aftercare and recommend avoiding sun exposure, heavy makeup, hot showers, and exfoliation for 24–48 hours.

Wait at least 12–24 hours before applying makeup to allow pores to calm and reduce infection risk. If you must, use clean, mineral-based products and apply gently; follow our aftercare cream to soothe freshly waxed skin.
