Get answers to common questions about Eyelash Tint.
Tint longevity varies by hair growth but typically lasts four to six weeks. Individual results depend on natural lash cycling and aftercare, and many clients schedule touch-ups every four to six weeks.
Eyelash tinting is generally safe when performed by a trained technician using professional formulas. We recommend a patch test for sensitivities, and contact lens wearers should remove lenses during the service.
When applied correctly, tinting dyes the hair shaft and does not alter lash growth. Rare reactions can occur, so professional application and patch testing minimize risk and protect lash health.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid mascara that day. Bring allergy information and consider removing contact lenses. A brief consultation and patch test may be completed before tinting.
You can wear eye makeup, but we advise waiting 24 hours before applying mascara or getting lashes wet. For best longevity, use water-based makeup and avoid oil-based removers that can fade the tint.
Avoid oil-based cleansers and heavy creams around the eye, skip steam or saunas for 24–48 hours, gently cleanse lashes, and schedule touch-ups every four to six weeks for consistent color.
